NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- While the Titans enjoy a weekend off earned by securing the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoff field, defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz will interview for two jobs.

Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean is reporting that the Cleveland Browns and the Detroit Lions have asked for and received permission to speak with Schwartz, the Titans' defensive coordinator since 2001.

The St. Louis Rams are also interested in speaking to Schwartz, the report says, but will not seek to do so during this window.

The Titans are second in scoring defense and seventh in overall defense this season.

Schwartz is a smart coach known for preparing his players and putting them in position to succeed.

He interviewed for the Atlanta, Washington, Miami and San Francisco head jobs in the past.
