Cost per win ranks mirror Power Rankings

No one from the AFC South made the top or bottom of Patrick Hruby’s Bang-for-the-Buck index.
Hruby divided every team’s payroll by its wins. The Colts rank ninth at $12.64 million a win, the Jaguars 15th at $13.89 million, the Titans 21st at $20.29 million and the Texans 22nd at $21.34 million.
Interestingly, these rankings very closely mirror the final ESPN NFL Power Rankings. Each team’s power ranking spot at the conclusion of the regular season is just one spot different that in these rankings.
