Gary Kubiak said center Chris Myers has a high ankle injury and didn't indicate how long he will be out. Cornerback Jacques Reeves is out six to eight weeks with a fractured fibula, from a team tweet (@thetexans). John McClain touches on both here and says without Reeves and Dunta Robinson (out in a contract dispute) that rookie Brice McCain is working as the starter opposite Fred Bennett.

Bob McNair says the Texans have no interest in Michael Vick, writes McClain.

John Oehser's notes on Colts' practice. Of note: He thought Mike Hart looked good carrying inside and out.

Joseph Addai says helping Donald Brown is the right thing to do, according to Oehser.
