Notes of interest from ESPN Stats and Info that I gleaned out of the weekly Next Level packet:
The rush didn’t make a big difference for him against the Texans. He was bad vs. no blitz and worse vs. blitz. Against four or fewer rushers, he was 10-for-18 with an 8.3 QBR. Against five or more rushers he was six-for-13 with a 0.5 QBR.
He completed passes on four-of-six play-action attempts.
Was just one-of--three on play-action attempts.
Was two-for-seven on throws of 21 yards or more, with a QBR of 36 and a passer rating of 20.2.
He was far better throwing to the middle of the field than to the sides. Inside the numbers, he was 10-of-12 for a 95.9 QBR and a 111.1 passer rating. Outside the numbers, he was seven-for-12 with a 30.4 QBR and a 67.0 passer rating.
Was six-for-six on passes thrown 11 to 20 yards with a perfect QBR of 100 and a passer rating 118.8.
He was five-for-seven against blitzes with a 98.4 QBR and a passer rating of 105.1.
Out of the shotgun he hit on just two-of-five for a QBR of 3.3 and a passer rating of 28.3.
He threw only one screen pass.
