We certainly regard the Jaguars as a young team.
I think there is a broad perception that the Titans are loaded with young talent.
While the Colts have some older guys they may be built around, they are largely supplemented by young, and often cheaper, players.
Now NFC West maven Mike Sando has run the numbers and the we have some more solid evidence.
The Titans have the 11th oldest average age in the league, the Texans 19th oldest, the Jaguars 25th oldest and the Colts 31st oldest.
Division by division, the AFC South is the youngest with the AFC West second and the NFC South third.
One thing to keep in mind: A couple guys can help skew things. The Texans, for example, have a 41-year old punter in Matt Turk and a 39-yard old in defensive tackle Jeff Zgonina. Imagine how young they'd be if they had an average age guy in those two spots?
