Houston Texans
New Houston linebacker Bradie James is excited to see if the Texans can make a title run.
Rookie Keshawn Martin hopes his experience returning punts and kicks helps give him an edge in securing a roster spot.
Indianapolis Colts
Former Colts linebacker David Thornton is back with the team as the director of player engagement. It's a role new general manager Ryan Grigson sees as a perfect fit for Thornton. “I didn’t have to sit long with him to realize he is going to be a great asset to us,” said Grigson. “David has instant credibility with the players because of the time he played the game. … David’s already created a great rapport with the players. They respect him, they trust him and David has a great knack for knowing how to reach people.”
Jacksonville Jaguars
The city of Jacksonville has withdrawn its letter that left Jaguars owner Shad Khan "shocked and perplexed." Last week the team was told it had defaulted on its contract with the city.
Guard Uche Nwaneri has plenty of stories to tell through his tattoos. "My inspiration for getting a lot of tattoos that I have are really based on things that went on in my life, things I could relate to," said Nwaneri. "That's what sparked it. As time went on, there were more things I felt I could represent with tattoos. Kind of give an insight into myself with art."
Tennessee Titans
Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean: "The Titans continue to add playmakers to the roster, but tight end Jared Cook doesn’t see himself getting lost in the crowd."
