Two Texans told John McClain they were fined for their roles in a sideline skirmish during the Texans' win over the Titans at LP Field on Sunday.

The league then confirmed the fines to ESPN.com.

Andre Johnson was fined $7,500 for unnecessary roughness (specifically, after the play was over he unnecessarily took the opponent to the ground by his facemask). Jacoby Jones was fined $5,000 for unnecessarily entering the fight area.

Wednesday the Titans’ Jason Jones, who was ejected from the game for his role in the fourth-quarter fight, told Jim Wyatt he was fined $5,000. Game officials said he threw a punch, which he denied and Jeff Fisher said he could not see on his version of the game film.

Officials announced a personal foul against Houston receiver David Anderson that offset the penalty for Jones' ejection and led to a replayed down. But Johnson and Fisher both said the crew clearly meant to penalize Johnson, not Anderson.
