The Texans are 3-0, not 13-0. There are constant reminders about not getting carried away with high hopes. But they are a quality football team, and with that comes talk and predictions of big things.
Mike Sando’s MVP Watch this week includes two Texans: quarterback Matt Schaub at No. 5 and J.J. Watt is No. 9. I love Watt being on there. He’s been incredible so far.
Matt Williamson’s Insider piece on the Texans, asks if they could go 16-0.
The Texans' defense is really without weakness. Because they are so dominant on this side of the ball, Houston can be a run-first operation on offense. And no team in the NFL is as good at running the rock as the Texans, with their zone blocking scheme and great pair of running backs.
Williamson loves the Texans but isn’t predicting they’ll go undefeated.
Could you have imagined a couple of years ago it would be up for discussion?
