What I think they’re thinking (or should be) at the headquarters of the Houston Texans this afternoon…
It’s funny how people will look at our 23-17 win over the Jets at MetLife Stadium Monday night and magnify the warts. It was hardly a perfect game, but we’re trying to win, right? And we did, right? We settled for field goals too often and we gave up a monster special teams play when Joe McKnight went 100 yards with a kickoff to pull the Jets within 6 points late in the third quarter. We’re not going to blow everyone out, no matter how easy we’ve made it look against some bad teams. So if that qualified as a bad night and we still haven’t lost a game, it’s a pretty good bad night and we’ll take it. The next two are toughies, but at least the Packers and Ravens are coming to us. Those probably won’t be easy either.
