John McClain of the Houston Chronicle writes that Owen Daniels is hardly in decline. Said Daniels: “I heard my best days were behind me, that my stats had fallen and that I was just average. That kind of talk kind of motivated me.”
Indianapolis Colts
It was win one for the Gipper, not win several, says Bob Kravitz of the Indianapolis Star. “How long does inspiration last?” he asks.
Jacksonville Jaguars
The imperfect 2010 draft is haunting the Jaguars, says Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union. It’s a C-minus for Tyson Alualu.
Tennessee Titans
Said Matt Hasselbeck: “Hopefully we can put a stake in the ground with this victory.” David Climer of The Tennessean wonders if the season won’t be nearly as bad as it seemed.
Grantland’s Bill Barnwell is here to be a buzzkill for Titans fans. The team was very strong on both lines not too long ago. “This Tennessee team doesn't have the worst set of lines in the league, but they're not far off, either.”
