New York Jets running back Shonn Greene collected 103 of his career-high 161 yards between the tackles Sunday against the Colts, including all three of his touchdowns, according to ESPN Stats and info.
Greene averaged 2.7 yards before contact on those rushes after averaging 1.5 yards before contact per rush over his first five games.
The Colts were without tackles Fili Moala and Martin Tevaseu, outside linebacker Robert Mathis and inside linebacker Pat Angerer, players with whom they surely could have fared better against a back that's been underachieving.
As for the Colts’ offense: The Jets defense limited Colts rookie quarterback Andrew Luck to 5-of-13 passing for 85 yards and an interception when sending at least five pass rushers at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
