What I think the Texans are thinking

What I think they’re thinking at the headquarters of the Houston Texans this afternoon…

We are the same exact team we were before the Green Bay game. It was an aberration. We were due for a dud. They were desperate and played up to their talent. It happens. Go ahead and pick Baltimore to crush us. But we’re more than a worthy challenger to them as the best team in the AFC. They’ve lost a top corner in Lardarius Webb. They’ve lost an emotional leader in linebacker Ray Lewis, though he wasn’t playing well. Nose tackle Haloti Ngata has a bad knee, and while he’s supposed to play, he’s not the same guy. We’ve lost a key leader in inside linebacker Brian Cushing, but overall, we are healthier than they are. We have something to prove now, and we’ll prove it.
