Dwight Freeney is a pretty amusing fellow.
In his first Funny or Die video he was a pitchman struggling to get through the filming of a cereal commercial.
This time around, he finishes watching the Super Bowl with a couple buddies, boots them from his couch and moves in to what he really wants to see -- golf. He’s a pretty funny super fan.
Freeney recently said he hopes to finish his career with the Colts. But the presumption from the very beginning of the Ryan Grigson/Chuck Pagano regime has been that the team would let Freeney move on now as he reaches free agency.
He’s certainly better cast as a 4-3 end than a 3-4 outside backer, the spot he shifted to last year.
It will be very interesting to see the interest level in him as a free agent. He needs a 4-3 team that plays on turf and, probably indoors. That’s not a long list. I could see the Rams or Cowboys intrigued, perhaps.
Hat tip to Nate Dunlevy of Bleacher report for the link to the new video.
