The Texans downplayed Arian Foster’s calf injury suffered early in Tuesday’s OTA session.
But like most teams the Texans don’t always offer immediately candid and accurate assessments of injuries, so forgive me if I prefer to wait a couple days to see how this shakes out.
I don’t mean to suggest it’s serious. I just don’t want to dismiss it as nothing quite yet.
A strained calf could cost Foster some time at a time of the year when they can be just fine with him watching from the sideline and allowing Ben Tate, Deji Karim and some undrafted rookies to get the work.
