RTC: Texans begin season-like schedule

August, 21, 2013
Training camp is over and the Texans third preseason game, at home against the New Orleans Saints, will actually be on a Sunday.

This week the Texans are taking more of a regular season-like schedule with their practices.

Yesterday was the Texans off day and it was filled with both the news and discussion of Texans defensive end Antonio Smith's suspension and fine for an on-field altercation with Dolphins guard Richie Incognito.

Reading The Coverage of the Texans...
Solomon notes this: "In 2010, Leon Woods, a semi-pro player in Rochester, N.Y., who had no prior criminal record, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for hitting a referee in the face with a helmet."
Harvey says Smith is smarter than this.
Incognito says, again, that he's worked to change.
Foster and Lynch play themselves, and their elders, in a commercial for Madden NFL 25. Read, watch, be amused.
A look at some interesting numbers from the Texans' second preseason game.
