Here’s today’s edition of Reading the Coverage. Happy Friday:
The Indianapolis Star has a story on Colts quarterback Andrew Luck's high school card going for only 99 cents on ebay while Alabama running back T.J. Yeldon’s autographed high school card is going for $499.99 on ebay. No offense to Yeldon, who rushed for 1,108 yards as a freshman for Alabama, but you’re getting a better deal forLuck’s card even if it's not autographed.
Phil Wilson, also of The Star, talked to linebacker Pat Angerer about making his preseason debut against Cleveland on Saturday. Angerer told Wilson that he needs to hit somebody. That hasn’t been an issue for Angerer when healthy. He had a team-high 148 tackles in 2011.
Colts punter Pat McAfee is one of the funniest players on the team. He also entertains fans on Twitter. And now fans will have an opportunity to watch him live online during the regular season. The Star has a video promoting The Pat McAfee Show, which will be shot in front of a live audience at an Indianapolis restaurant every Tuesday starting Sept. 3.
