Good things usually happen to teams that don't draw a lot of penalties.

Houston is still waiting for the payoff.

The Texans are the least penalized team in the NFL, averaging 2.5 per game. New England is second at 2.75 while another bad team, Kansas City is third at 3.8.

Some teams are willing to accept a certain amount of aggressive penalties. Defensive lines that pride themselves at get-off at the snap, for example, usually understand that some offsides calls will wind up part of the equation.

Could the Texans low number of penalties actually be a bad indicator?
