INDIANAPOLIS -- Sometimes not saying much really says a lot.

Indianapolis Colts general manager Ryan Grigson was asked about center Samson Satele's future with the team during his media portion Friday at the scouting combine.

“As for Samson, like I said, this is an evaluation process and we have a plan in place,” Grigson said. “We’re not going to divulge that to anyone, but we’re taking all the time and due diligence and the film work and it’s something for the organization to know and you guys will find out at some point.”

Those aren’t exactly reassuring words by Grigson that Satele will be back.

It’s understandable why Grigson can’t publicly commit to Satele for next season.

Satele started 13 games last season, but was not very good. Some scouts believe guard Mike McGlynn was a better center than Satele when he started three games there last season. Satele’s cap number is $5.1 million for next season.
