A look at Peyton Manning’s performance in the Colts’ come-from-behind win at Houston on Sunday, from Floyd Hanson and Mike Rodriguez of ESPN Stats & Information.
The turning point of the game came on a 43-yard pass interference penalty against Houston early in the third quarter, which set the Colts up deep in Texans territory.
The first time these teams met, the Texans brought five or more rushers on 10 passing plays forcing Manning to throw an interception and record a 39.6 rating.
Sunday, the Texans brought pressure only four times, possibly because it wasn’t effective. On the season, Manning has now accumulated a completion percentage of 71 and 106.1 rating when teams bring the heat against him.
