Courtesy of ESPN Stats & Analysis, I got some excellent material that fleshes out Peyton Manning's performance in the Colts' Monday night loss to Tennessee.
Although Manning wasn't sacked and game statisticians said he was hurried only twice -- it felt like a couple more than that -- he once again could not connect downfield.

The Titans' secondary frustrated Manning throughout, as evidenced by 10 passes defensed:

Although Dallas Clark had his best game of the season with seven catches for 94 yards and two touchdowns, Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison were once again quiet. For the second week in a row they combined for just four catches.
Manning was often forced to check down to secondary targets such as Dominic Rhodes and Anthony Gonzalez:

Without an effective running game, the play-action pass is becoming less effective for Manning. On play action attempts, he was 3-for-8 with 43 yards and no touchdowns.
