Last year, Fred Taylor had game-high runs of 29, 29, 38, 50 (TD), 62 (TD), 76 and 80 (TD) yards.

This year the best he's managed are 10, 13, and 34.

Last year, Maurice Jones-Drew had game-high runs of 20, 21, 22, 23, 30, 52 (TD) and 57 (TD) yards.

This year the best he's managed are 11, 18, 19 and 46 (TD).

The Jaguars rushing offense is hardly alone as a cause of the underachieving team's 3-4 record.

But a team that's supposed to be an unstoppable force running the ball ranks just 14th in rushing yardage and is not getting the sort of back-breaking runs it came to rely on last year.

It's easy and already a bit old to suggest the Bengals Sunday and the Lions next week will be a tonic to cure all the Jaguars' ills.

But here are the game-by-game long runs against Cincy so far this season: 42 (TD), 51, 22, 18, 33 (TD), 11, 24, 20 (TD).
