MIAMI -- I’ve never doubted that Dwight Freeney was going to play, the questions are how much and how well.
It’s easy to misread a pregame warmup, and I’ve done so many times. But working on his get-off at one corner of the stadium under the watch of a trainer and assistant coach he looked better than OK to me.
He just left the field.
I expect him to start off playing in clear-cut pass rush situations.
