JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Though word leaked out, the Jaguars didn't say anything officially leading up to the game because they weren't sure it would happen.
But former offensive lineman Richard Collier, who just got out of a rehab center, will take part in the coin toss tonight before the NFL Network's Colts-Jaguars game. He was back at the stadium with the team for the first time for a few hours Wednesday.
Collier was shot 14 times on Sept. 2 and he's wheelchair-bound due to injuries from the shooting -- he lost his left leg, is paralyzed from the waist down and continues to endure extensive rehabilitation.
Collier is expected to speak briefly with the press right after the game kicks off. I look forward to saying hello and sharing what he says.
