The AFC South as livable sports towns
By Paul Kuharsky
Thought you might find this recent D.J. Gallo column of interest. He spins off of Forbes’ piece about livable cities and produces a thumbs-up or thumbs-down verdict after presenting a brief case.
He like Indy. He doesn’t like Houston.
Despite the fact that he says two pro teams and a major college program within an hour is enough to be considered, he leaves Nashville (Titans, Predators, Vanderbilt) off the list. I guess it’s a slap at the Commodores. Yeah, the football team isn't usually very good. But it's an SEC school with a men’s basketball program that’s been part in the NCAA tournament three of the last four years.
Jacksonville didn’t qualify for consideration.
