JACKSONVILLE -- The Jaguars announced Monday that they've shuffled their personnel staff a bit.
The team hired Brian Simmons and Jeff Gooch to the team's player personnel staff and realigned scouting duties within the department.
Simmons, a veteran of 10 years in the NFL, will serve as the team's northeast regional scout. He played linebacker for the Cincinnati (who drafted him 17th overall in 1998) and New Orleans.
Gooch was hired as the Jaguars' BLESTO scout for the southeast.
In the shuffling, Chris Driggers is moving from southwest regional scout to serve as a pro scout, Chris Prescott is going from the northeast regional scout to southwest regional scout, and Jason DesJarlais is moving from being the BLESTO representative to become the team's midwest regional scout.
