Imagining the possibilities for Andre Johnson
By Paul Kuharsky

Andre Johnson’s day wasn’t as historic as Chris Johnson’s, which is fine with the Texans receiver because his team won Sunday at LP Field.
But Chris Johnson wasn’t the only player in the game who hit impressive numbers.
As he pulled in 10 catches for 149 yards and two touchdowns, Andre Johnson got his 500th catch during the win over the Titans.
Johnson, who has 500 career receptions in 88 games, ranks second in NFL history for the fewest number of games to reach 500 receptions. Johnson trails only Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin, who accomplished the feat in 80 games.
I played with some numbers. Johnson is 28. Let’s say he is able to double his numbers -- that would put him at 1,000 receptions for 13,126 yards and 70 touchdowns.
Those numbers would rank him 11th on the all-time receiving yardage list, and within 1,808 yards of No. 3 on the list, Tim Brown.
Possible? If Johnson is healthy and properly featured in his offense, I sure think so.
