Life after football: Alterraun Verner

By Paul Kuharsky

The AFC South blog asked Tennessee Titans cornerback Alterraun Verner what he would be doing if there was no football in his life.

Here’s his reply:

“I probably would be somewhere doing statistical analysis for a company, doing accounting or trying to be an engineer. Those are the types of fields I would have gone into if there was no such thing as football for me. Anything to do with numbers. I like playing with numbers and trying to find out percentages. When I did an internship with a bank one time I talked with people who handle the numbers, trying to figure out the assets and liabilities. I think all that would be really, really interesting to me.”
