What I think the Texans are thinking
By Paul Kuharsky
What I think they’re thinking (or should be) at the headquarters of the Houston Texans this afternoon…
We roll on. This is sure a lot of fun. We’ve done a little bit of everything as we’ve built up this 4-0 record. Now we get to show off Monday night in New York against the Jets, and if we play the way we’ve played, it will be great to put ourselves on display on national TV. We’re not looking past that, of course. The struggling Jets will be determined to find a degree of redemption with an upset. People who want to punch holes in us at this point may say we haven’t really played anyone yet. A win at Denver’s not nothing and we can only play our schedule. But be patient. After the Jets, we’ve got the Packers and the Ravens back-to-back and we’ll all get a sense of just how good we are after we play those two. If you need to wait until that, we don’t care. Oh, and J.J. Watt is indeed something special.
