What I think the Texans are thinking

By Paul Kuharsky

What I think they’re thinking at the headquarters of the Houston Texans this morning.

That was a nice rest. Playing against our old guy Mario Williams this weekend at Reliant Stadium will be fun. He’s coming off wrist surgery. It’s a team we should beat. Their run defense gave up 195 yards to Chris Johnson in their last game and we’re a much better running team than the Titans. So hopefully we jump out to a nice lead with Arian Foster and then let Ben Tate, if he’s healthy, or Justin Forsett finish things off. Of course, we can’t say any of that aloud. What will say aloud is, this is a talented opponent, every week is a threat, we need to play well to win, we have things we need to iron out, starting with special teams. It’d be a nice game to get one of those young receivers going and we'd like to find ways to be sure we get Connor Barwin and Brooks Reed to the quarterback.
