Titans should be risky vs. Texans

By Paul Kuharsky

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Will the Titans let it all hang out offensively at LP Field against the Texans?

They should.

With Dowell Loggains calling plays for the first time as the team’s new offensive coordinator and nothing to lose against the first-place Texans, it would make sense to push the ball downfield and be creative. Especially since the Texans are without starting cornerback Johnathan Joseph and his backup, Alan Ball.

That puts nickelback Brice McCain in the starting lineup as a cornerback on the outside, and it means second-year corner Brandon Harris will see his first significant action on defense working as the nickelback.

I have great faith in the ability of Houston’s offense to move the ball and score points on any Sunday, and particularly against this defense.

The Titans’ chance at springing a divisional upset come if they too can move it and score, against a defense that has been struggling and is beaten up.
