What I think the Texans are thinking

By Paul Kuharsky

What I think they’re thinking at the headquarters of the Houston Texans this afternoon…

We got fancy AFC South champion hats Sunday after we took care of the Colts. The Patriots loss did a lot to keep us in line for the No. 1 seed and home-field advantage. We paused to celebrate, but with our lofty goals we’re serious when we say we’ve done nothing yet. The best teams are keyed around stars who produce in big games, and we got those kind of games from J.J. Watt, Andre Johnson and Arian Foster. Those are our guys. If they do their thing, we’re going to be a tough out. We’ve lost badly twice this season, we’ve rebounded well each time. That’s encouraging. And we didn’t do anything out of the ordinary in this game, we just played our game. Let’s keep in mind there is no potential to rebound from a dud in the playoffs. A dud and we’re dead.
