What I think the Titans are thinking

By Paul Kuharsky

What I think they should be thinking at the headquarters of the Tennessee Titans this afternoon…

Hey, it’s a W. We’re not good enough or in position to grade its caliber. There is a lot to correct but it’s better to go back to work grading an ugly win than a good loss. We got a giant play out of our big-play running back. We got a solid drive out of our young quarterback. We got some big plays on defense. That was enough and we can’t be choosy. The talk in town today is all about whether Jake Locker is good enough. No one will work harder to show he can be. We believe he will be. But based on what he’s done so far he’s reminding you just how hard it is. It stinks for him that a bunch of other guys are making it look easy. People are impatient. This is generally a patient franchise when it comes to player development. So wait with us and see, OK?
