Manning won't equate 16 straight with 16-0

When Tiger Woods held all four of golf’s major titles at once, but not in the same calendar year, it was deemed The Tiger Slam.
Peyton Manning is hardly thinking along the same lines as the Colts prepare for Sunday’s home game against San Francisco.
If the Colts win, it will be their 16th consecutive regular season victory. It would not, in Manning’s eyes, equate New England’s undefeated regular season of 2007.
“I wouldn’t really look at it that way,” he said, according to the team’s transcript. “Is it that slow in sports around here? The World Series is tonight, isn’t it? That’s a pretty big game. Is it sweeps month?”
