Young a spark so far for Titans

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Titans are showing life and Vince Young has provided just the spark they were hoping for.
There’s no telling how things would be going had he been made to pay for his early mistake, but rookie corner Derek Cox dropped a fair-catch type interception opportunity in the end zone thrown well beyond Justin Gage.
It’s been Young’s only real bad play and his 6-yard touchdown pass to Nate Washington with Reggie Nelson in coverage was downright pretty.
It’s not the only change that’s provided some impact -- Rod Hood just picked a David Garrard pass intended for Torry Holt, who bumped into umpire Rich Hall.
That set up a Rob Bironas 25-yard field goal that has it at 13-0 with 5:50 left before the half.
