RTC: Bridgewater wants to be top pick
By Tania Ganguli
Reading the coverage of the Houston Texans...
Teddy Bridgewater spoke to Louisville's ESPN 680 this week to talk about the draft process and his pre-draft preparation at IMG Academies in Florida. Asked if he wants to be the No. 1 pick, Bridgewater said: "That's my dream right now. I'm trying to make it come true." Asked how close he is to being ready for that role, he said: "I feel like I'm very close but playing this game you always have room for improvement." Bridgewater also talks about the process of being an agent and the difficulties in building that relationship. Listen to the full interview here.
James Palmer of CSNHouston.com spoke with Case Keenum this week, the quarterback who became the Texans starter in Week 7, at a banquet about sportsmanship. Keenum said his job description didn't require him to have an opinion about Seahawks corner Richard Sherman's comments about 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree.
Just as the Texans dealt with a coach's illness, the Broncos were without head coach John Fox for a few games, writes John McClain of the Houston Chronicle. McClain recounts how they overcame that.
Eric Sanlnocencio of HoustonTexans.com continues a series from the website on draft prospects with a Q&A on UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr. He speaks with college football writer Bryan Fischer about Barr.
