NFL Power Rankings: Not the worst

The NFC West is rated worse than the AFC South, at least for a week. That’s according to the ESPN.com NFL Power Rankings.

The Texans jumped five spots off their blowout win in Nashville, which dropped the Titans six spots. The Jaguars’ upset of Baltimore moved them up four notches. The Colts remain dead last. So the total gain was only three spots, but the NFC West's drop was enough to offset it.

It was a narrow "win." The AFC South's average spot is 22; the NFC West is at 22.2.
