Here is a look at the AFC West leaders in a few categories after Week 8:
The numbers: He has thrown for 2,038 yards.
What does it mean? Rivers has thrown for the third most yards in the NFL this season. He has thrown for 176 yards than Denver's Jay Cutler who has played in one less game than Rivers.
LaDainian Tomlinson, San Diego Chargers
The numbers: Tomlinson has 551 rushing yards.
What does it mean? Tomlinson's yardage numbers may start to increase now that he seems to be healing from a turf toe. He had his second 100-yard rushing game of the season Sunday against New Orleans.
The numbers: Marshal has 49 catches.
What does it mean? Marshall has a big advantage in the division even though he has played in six games during the first eight weeks of the season.
D.J. Williams, Denver Broncos
The numbers: Williams has 69 tackles.
What does it mean? The Broncos' linebacker is third in the NFL in tackles despite Denver having a bye last week.
The numbers: Edwards has four sacks.
DeAngelo Hall, Oakland Raiders
The numbers: Hall has three interceptions
What does it mean? Hall didn't add to his total last week but he still needs in the division interception race.
