Fans in San Diego will be able to watch the Chargers on television Sunday but Bay Area fans will not be able to see the Raiders on television.
The Chargers announced the local television blackout was lifted. San Diego's game against Kansas City has been cleared as a sellout and the game will be shown locally. It is San Diego's first home game since Oct. 12 and it begins a stretch in which San Diego plays four of its next five games at home.
Meanwhile, this is the first blacked out game in Oakland in more than a year. The Raiders have had much better luck selling tickets after struggling to sell tickets for several years. This week's black out is understandable. The Raiders are struggling, they just cut DeAngelo Hall and it was just four days ago that the team gained just 77 yards and three first downs (both team record lows).
