Start of a Crennel-Berry relationship?

This has to be a nice sight for Kansas City fans -- University of Tennessee star safety Eric Berry running drills conducted by Chiefs defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel.
Crennel ran a drill at Berry’s pro day Wednesday in which Berry suffered a big toe injury. The initial reports are that the injury is not serious and it should not affect Berry’s draft status. Kansas City could easily take Berry if he is available at No. 5.
Don’t read too much into the fact that Crennel was running the drill. NFL coaches running pro-day drills are normal. However, it is relevant that Crennel was at the pro day. There are pro days all over the country. Kansas City sending Crennel to watch Berry up close shows the team’s interest in him.
