NFL.com is reporting that the Miami Dolphins are shopping receiver Ted Ginn.
Ginn was a top pick in 2007. He is a dynamic receiver and return man. But he hasn’t made as big of an impact as a receiver as expected. He had just 38 catches last season. Still, if the price is right, he could be an intriguing addition. The following is a look if Ginn fits in with the four AFC West teams:
Denver: Could the Dolphins dangle Ginn in a package for receiver Brandon Marshall? The Dolphins could use a receiver, especially if Ginn is sent packing. I’m not sure if Ginn would fit in with the Broncos. He is a similar player to Eddie Royal, who struggled in his first season in the Josh McDaniels regime after having a huge rookie season.
Kansas City: The Chiefs could use another receiver and Ginn would help in the return game. If the price isn’t too much, the Chiefs could be a decent fit for Ginn.
Oakland: The Raiders need more receivers, but they could use a bigger, more experienced receiver. Plus, Oakland’s return game is already solid.
San Diego: The Chargers are set at receiver and in the return game. This doesn’t appear to be a great fit.
