Count Seattle coach Pete Carroll among those who like Denver’s selection of quarterback Tim Tebow.

Carroll said this on Chris Russo’s show on SIRIUS’s Mad Dog radio.: “I thought Denver did a good job. I think anybody that got Tim Tebow had a good draft because I think he’s going to surprise everybody. And I think he’s going to be a fantastic addition to a team. There’s another guy that we would have really liked to have been able to add for the future because of what he brings. He will not let these issues about throwing motions and things be in the way. He will will his way through that if he’s anything at all like I know. "
  • A Boston radio host has apologized for controversial comments he made about Tebow’s draft celebration party Thursday night.
  • It is being reported that Oakland has agreed to terms with running back/return man Rock Cartwright. He was formerly with Washington. He will provide depth and compete to be a kick returner.
