Our first 2010 NFL power rankings have been released.

I do not have a vote. AFC South blogger Paul Kuharsky is the AFC representative. I have an opinion though, so here goes:

San Diego

Power ranking: 4th

My ranking range: 4-6

Why: Despite many key departures, this is still a top-flight team because of a dominant passing game.

Denver

Power ranking: 20th

My ranking range: 22-26

Why: The Broncos have a lot of holes. They lost eight of their final 10 games. I don’t see a lot of immediate improvement.

Oakland

Power ranking: 24

My ranking range: 21-23

Why: The Raiders will be improved because of the addition of Jason Campbell. This is far from a great team, but there is some hope in Oakland.

Kansas City

Power ranking: 29

My ranking range: 24-27

Why: The Chiefs have to show they can compete. I think they will. They had a good offseason.
