Tomlinson misses running mates

Here's some outstanding information compiled by ESPN's Stats & Information on LaDainian Tomlinson's struggles this season.

LT has amassed career lows in rushes per game (18.5), longest run (41 yards), rushing touchdowns (5) and yards per game (70). His per-carry average (3.8 yards) is the lowest it has been since his rookie season in 2001.

Could Tomlinson's issues be connected to the losses of backfield mates Lorenzo Neal and Michael Turner? Neal, a longtime standout fullback, was released and is now with Baltimore. Turner was Tomlinson's backup and is now the lead back in Atlanta where he signed in the offseason as a free agent. Turner and the Falcons visit San Diego on Sunday.
