After singing Vincent Jackson's praises all season, it is time to put him on the hot seat.

Jackson is coming off the Chargers' 23-17 wild card playoff win over Indianapolis without getting any receptions.

The big wide receiver needs to perform better for the Chargers in the divisional playoffs.
Jackson has emerged as a big-play, big-game receiver for San Diego. In the postseason last year, Jackson had 18 catches in the Chargers' three playoff games. In most of San Diego's biggest games this season, Jackson has come up big.

Saturday night, though, he was shutout. It's not all his fault of course. Quarterback Philip Rivers didn't throw many passes his way. It was clear tight end Antonio Gates was the focal point of the San Diego pass offense against the Colts.

Jackson is an impact player and he will likely come back with a strong game. The Chargers will need it.
