There are 19 shopping hours remaining in the Vincent Jackson sweepstakes.
By all accounts, there seems to be a lot of work to be done before the holdout Pro Bowl holdout receiver becomes a former San Diego Charger.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the Chargers were still not of the mind to give Jackson away. They must be pleased with a trade compensation package. If not, he will not be traded by the 4 p.m. deadline Wednesday.
Under a settlement reached Thursday, Jackson has to sit out the first four games of the season -- instead of six -- if he is traded by 4 p.m. Wednesday. If that window closes without a deal, Jackson will only be able to be traded after the Chargers’ sixth game Oct. 17 and before the Oct. 19 trade deadline.
The clock is ticking.
