Oakland Raiders rookie middle linebacker Rolando McClain made it onto SportsCenter for his spectacular body slam of tiny St. Louis Rams receiver Danny Amendola in the Raiders’ 16-14 win on Sunday. The replay was shown throughout the week.
Fame has its price.
The NFL fined McClain $5,000 for his WWF impersonation. A league spokesman said McClain was fined because he unnecessarily slammed the opponent to the ground. McClain was the No. 8 overall pick in April.
