Salary cap primer series

We are going to take a look at the salary cap situations with each AFC West teams in the next couple of hours.
We will do it alphabetically, starting with Denver.
Here are a couple of things to take note of: The salary cap number is always changing for every team. The numbers that will be used is the latest numbers available. Teams will make moves before the start of free agency, which begins Feb. 27, to give themselves more cap room.
None of the teams in the AFC West appear headed to cap jail. They will all have some room to make a few moves. The biggest issue won't be cap room but cash. In recent years, many team around the NFL, including Denver, spent significantly less cash than their salary cap ceiling. In the current economy, all of the teams in the division could be careful in their true cash spending.
Again, the cap is changing but the following posts gives an idea of where teams are now with free agency less than two weeks away.
