OAKLAND -- Oakland rookie middle linebacker Rolando McClain is out with a hip injury, the Raiders announced. His return is questionable. Ricky Brown is playing in his place.

McClain has started every game this season. He was the No. 8 overall draft pick. He made headlines this week when he challenged Oakland fans to sell out the Sunday’s game against Kansas City. McClain hasn’t been talking to reporters and he said he’d end his silence of the team sold out a game. They did. It was the first time in 11 games that Oakland sold out a game.

Kansas City is winning 10-0 with six minutes to go in the first half. Oakland is also playing without star cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha and tight end Zach Miller.
