Here are some areas the Kansas City Chiefs need to focus on after a 31-13 win over the Arizona Cardinals:

Recap: It was a completely satisfying day for the Chiefs as they bounce back from a two-game losing skid. Kansas City was completely in control as they improved to 6-4 and took over possession of first place in the AFC West again. Oakland, which moved into a tie for first place last week when Kansas City was routed in Denver, was pummeled in Pittsburgh on Sunday and fell to 5-5.

Biggest area to fix: Offensive balance. Kansas City passed for 193 yards and ran for 159 yards in the win. This is exactly what the Chiefs want to do. They want their tremendous run game to setup the pass. This is a winning formula in Kansas City.

Biggest area to build on: Pass rush. This is nitpicking somewhat because the Chiefs were really good Sunday, but they had just two sacks. It’d be nice to see Kansas City increase the sack total some moving forward.

What to watch for: Kansas City can move to 7-4 and keep its lead in the division with a winnable game at Seattle on Sunday.
