The Kansas City Chiefs cut long-snapper Jean-Philippe Darche on Thursday.

He played seven games last season and he missed the final nine games of the season with a knee injury. He was the team's snapper for all of 2007 after signing from Seattle.

Thomas Gafford, a rookie, replaced Darche last season. Gafford is the only long-snapper left on the roster.
